Where Jesus Predicted His Own Death and Resurrection in Matthew

Another way to Know that Jesus Is God's Son is that God is All Knowing. Jesus, the Son of God, knew and told His Disciples ahead of time about His approaching capture, torture, death, and resurrection to save us all from our sins.

Jesus Predicted He Would be Buried for Three Days [Implied before His Resurrection]
But He answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet [Johah]. For as HJonah] was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.  Matthew 12:40

Jesus Told His Disciples He Would Suffer , Die, and Be Raised the Third Day
*From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto His disciples, how that He must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Matthew 16:21

God the Father Let the Disciples Know that Jesus was Truly His Son and He Was  Well Pleased
*While he yet spake, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him. And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. Matthew 7:7-8

Jesus Told His Disciples Again that He Would Be Betrayed, Die, and Be Raised the Third Day
*And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: And they shall kill Him, and the third day He shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry. Matthew 17:22-23

Jesus Reminds His Disciples That 2 Days After Passover, He Would Be Betrayed &  Crucified
*And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, He said unto His disciples, Ye know that after two days is the feast of the Passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified. Matthew 26:1-2

During the Last Supper with His Disciples, He Said One of Them Will Betray Him
*Now when the even was come, He sat down with the twelve. And as they did eat, He said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray Me. Matthew 26:21

Jesus Tells the Disciples That the One Who Betrays Him Will Regret It
*And He answered and said, He that dippeth His hand with Me in the dish, the same shall betray Me. The Son of man goeth as it is written of Him: but woe unto that man by whom the son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. Matthew 26:23-24

Jesus Explains Communion & Tells Them Next Time He Will Have It With Them in Heaven 
*And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is My body. And He took the cup, and gave thinks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins, But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until the day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom. Matthew 26: 29-30

Jesus Shares That Tonight The Disciples Will Be Scattered Like Sheep When He Is Betrayed
*And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of Me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad. But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee. Matthew 26:30-32

Jesus Predicts Peter Will Deny Him 3 Times, when Peter Says He would Never Leave Him

*Then saith He unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here and watch with Me. And He went a little farther, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O My Father if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. Matthew 26:38-39

Jesus Accurately Predicts That He Will Be Betrayed Within the Hour
*Then cometh He to His disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray Me. Matthew 26:45-46

Judas in Betraying Jesus, Tells the Soldiers that The One He Kisses is Jesus 
*And while He yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords, and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. Now he that betrayed Him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is He: hold Him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed Him. And Jesus said unto himFriend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took Him. Matthew 26:47-50

Jesus Tells The Soldiers, Their Capturing Him Was to Fulfill the Scriptures That Predicted This
*In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take Me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on Me. But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook Him, and fled. Matthew 26:55-56

Peter Denies Jesus Three Times and Remembers Jesus Had Predicted That Earlier

And immediately the cock crew. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto Him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny Me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly. Matthew 26:69-75

Judas Tried to Return the 30 Silver Pieces, They Use It to Buy the Potter's Field
*Then Judas, which had betrayed Him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and [died of a self inflicted wound.] And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in. Matthew 27:3-9

*Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by [Jeremiah] the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of Him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value; And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me. Matthew 27:9-10
