Miracles Witnessed That Jesus Did, Mentioned in Mark

[Remember in each of these miracles, there was at least one other person, quite often multitudes who witnessed Jesus performing these. Sometimes the witnesses come to love Jesus and others are threatened by His ability to do these miracles and plot to kill Him. The subtitles are an overview of the Miracle Jesus did and the Bible verses follow it. Note that verses with an * will be mentioned in other posts, so you can see the consistency of the Disciple's Reports of the Miracles, although each describes it according to what they could see and hear at the time.]


People Witness Jesus Removing an Unclean Spirit
And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. and when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. And they were all amazed insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth He even the unclean spirits, and they do obey Him. Mark 1:25-27

People Witness Jesus Healing Simon's Mother Who Was Sick with a Fever
But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell Him of her. and He came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them. Mark 1:30-31

People Witnessed Jesus Heal Many That Were Sick with a Variety of Diseases
And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto Him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with [evil spirits]. And [Jesus] healed many that were sick of diverse diseases, and cast out many [evil spirits]; and suffered not the [evil spirits] to speak, because they knew Him. Mark 1:32-34

And He preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out [evil spirits]. And there came a leper to Him, beseeching Him, and kneeling down to Him, and saying unto Him, If Thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean. And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth His hand, and touched Him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. And as soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed. Mark 1:39-42

A Multitude Witness Jesus Healing a Man Born With Palsy
And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and He preached the word unto them. And they come unto Him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come night unto Him for the [crowd] they uncovered the roof where He was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, He said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, Why doth this Man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? and immediately when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, He said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (He saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, we never saw it on this fashion.  Mark 2:2-12

The Pharisees & Others in the Church Witnessed Jesus Healing a Man's Withered Hand
And [Jesus] saith unto the man which had the withered hand,, Stand forth. And He saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. And when He had look round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, He saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.  And the Pharisees went forth, and straithway took counsel with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him. Mark 3:3-6

And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And [Jesus] was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake Him, and say unto Him, Master, carest Thou not that we perish? And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? Mark 4:37:41

*A Crowd Witness a Woman Being Healed of the the Plague by Touching the Garment of Jesus
And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the [crowd] behind, and touched His garment. For she said, If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. Mark 5:25-29

And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that virtue had gone out of Him, turned Him about in the [crowd], and said, Who touched my clothes? And His disciples said unto Him, Thou seest the multitude thronging Thee, and sayest Thou, Who Touched Me? And He looked around about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before Him, and told Him all the truth. And He said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole, go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. Mark 5:30-34

*The Disciples & Her Parents Witness Jesus Reviving the Daughter That Had Died
While He yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troubles thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. And He suffered no man to follow Him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. And He cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly. And when He was come in, [Jesus] saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed Him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, He taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with Him, and enetereth in where the damsel was lying. and He took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being intererpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. Mark 5:35-42

Villagers & His Disciples Witnessed Jesus Healing Some Sick People
And He could there do no mighty work, save that [Jesus] laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And He [marveled] because of their unbelief. And He went round about the villages, teaching. Mark 6:5-6

*5000 People Watched Jesus Feed All With Food to Spare from 5 Loaves of Bread & 2 Fish
He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto Him, shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat? He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes. And [Jesus] commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass. And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties. And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fished divided he among them all. and they did all eat, and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men. Mark 6:37-44

*The Disciples Saw Jesus Walking Again on Water and the Sea Calming
And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and He alone on the land. And He saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night [Jesus] cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them. But when they saw Him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: For they all saw Him, and were troubled. And immediately He talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid. And He went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.  Mark 6:46-51

*Villagers Witnessed Jesus Healing Those Sick in Beds, Even Those Who Touched His Clothes
And when they were come out of the ship, straightway they knew Him, And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard He was. and whithersoever [Jesus] entered, into villages or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought Him that they might touch if it wee but the border of His garment: and as many as touched Him were made whole. Mark 6:54-56

The Mother Witnessed That Jesus Healed Her Daughter By His Saying She Was HealedAnd she answered and said unto Him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. And He said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the [evil spirit] is gone out of thy daughter. And when she was come to her house, she found the [evil spirit] gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed. Mark 7:28-30

The Multitude Witnessed the Deaf Man Who Couldn't Talk After Jesus Healed Him
And they bring unto Him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech Him to put His hand upon him. And [Jesus] took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers into his ears, and He spit, and touched his tongue; And looking up to heaven He sighed, and saith unto him Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. And straightway his eares were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain. Mark 7:32-35

What the Multitude Said About Jesus After He Healed the Deaf Man Who Couldn't Speak
And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: [Jesus] maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak. Mark 7:37

*4,000 Witnessed Jesus Feed All with 7 Loaves of Bread & a Few Fish, the Second Time
And His disciples answered Him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness? And He asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven. And [Jesus] commanded the people to sit down on the ground and He took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to His disciples to set before them, and they did set them before the people. And they had a few small fishes: and He blessed, and commanded to set them also before them. So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets. And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and He sent them away. Mark 8:4-9

And when Jesus knew it, He saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened? having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember? when I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto Him, Twelve. And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven. And He said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand? Mark 8:17-21


*The Blind Witnessed Jesus Heal Him, So That He Could See Clearly
And He cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto Him, and besought Him to touch him. And [Jesus] took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when He had spit on his eyes, and put His hands upon him, He asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that He put His hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. Mark 8:22-25

3 Disciples Heard God the Father Speak & Say Jesus Was His Beloved Son
And after six days Jesus taketh with Him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and He was transfigured before them. And His raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. And there appeared unto them [Elijah] with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus. And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for Thee and one for Moses, and one for [Elijah] . For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid. And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is My beloved Son: hear Him. And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. Mark 9:2-8

Many Witnessed Jesus Heal A Deaf Child Who Couldn't Speak 
And Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many say he is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose. Mark 9:23-27

The Disciples Witnessed Jesus Healing Blind Bartimaeus
And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise: He calleth thee. And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto Him, Lord that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. Mark 9:49-52

And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, [Jesus] sendeth forth two of His disciples, And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him. And if any many say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither. And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him. And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go. Mark 11:1-6

*The Disciples Witnessed a Fig Tree Wither Over Night
And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, [Jesus] was hungry: And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, He came, if haply He might find any thing thereon: and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And His disciples heard it. Mark 11:12-14...And when even was come, He went out of the city. And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto Him, Master, behold the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. Mark 11:19-22

Jesus Says That He, the Son of God Doesn't No the Date of the End, but God His Father Does
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. Mark 13:32-33
