The Book of Isaiah's End of World Prophecies Compared with Those in The Revelation of Jesus Christ in Small Chunks

This is an ongoing major Biblical Research Project. I felt led to compare the different End of World Prophecies in Isaiah, Ezekiel, etc. with those in The Revelation of Jesus Christ, analyzing for consistency and inconsistencies. I realized when I first started taking notes on The Revelation of Jesus Christ, it covered lots of pertinent details. I was concerned that it might be difficult for me to pair up the portions of the end of world prophecy from other books of the Bible with those in Revelation. [I will use the word ‘Revelation’ most often rather than write out The Revelation of Jesus Christ, each time. Also, I often abbreviate it as ‘Rev’ in the table I used that has been put after all my research analysis, for those who would like to compare it further online.

During this process, I decided to write my notes for Revelation in small chunks, because it would make it easier for me to locate the parts I was trying to analyze with the book of the Bible I am comparing. Additionally, I realized that it would make it easier for others to view this analysis in its entirety on either of these two blogs I felt led to create: Biblical Proof! at https://BiblicalProof.blogspot.com/ and on Do Biblical Inconsistencies Really Matter? at https://Biblicalinconsistencies.blogspot.com/

This Biblical Research Project will be completed with the use of the New King James Version [NKJV] of the Bible unless noted otherwise. I may utilize online sites as a resource, if needed.  If something doesn’t seem clear, I may put who or what is being referred to within brackets for clarity. Additionally, I put my analysis, evaluation, comments, and opinions within brackets and will tip you off,  when I’m sharing that. For those who plan to access this information further online, I ended up color coding particular aspects of Revelation verses in the table to make it easier when I compare it with the other other end of world predictions .

The following Bible passage is noteworthy. Rev 22:18-20 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this  book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; & if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, & from the things which are written in this book. He who testifies of these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

In order to maintain the integrity of the Bible passages and not alter it in any significant way,  I sometimes paraphrase or condense things to conserve space. Often, I put an ‘&’ sign instead of spelling out the word ‘and’. Additionally, I use the numeral instead of spelling out the numbers or combine things that are similar. This is an example of how I condensed it while maintaining the passage’s integrity: Rev 7:4-8 John heard the number of those sealed:144,00 of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed. 12,000 each of the following tribes were sealed: the Tribes of Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin.  It says the same basic thing as the original passage, but condenses it to conserve space without listing each tribe in a separate verse and that there were 12,000 were sealed.

After prayerful contemplation of ways to share this information, I will have Topics and possibly subtopics, and will put both the verses from Isaiah and Revelation that relate to that topic. There may be some times some verses may be used more than once, because they also relate to another topic. I will put the passages from Revelation [Rev] in an orange font. Isaiah passages are in blue. The bulk of my analysis, but not all, will be in purple.

Analysis

Background Information

  • Isaiah 1:1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
  • Isaiah 6:8-10 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “here am I! Send me.” And He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ “Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed.”
  • Rev 1:1-3 This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave Him to show His servants things that must shortly take place. He sent & signified by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness of the word of God, & to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he [John] saw. Blessed is he who reads & those who hear the words of this prophecy, & keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
  • Rev 1:9 John, brother & companion in tribulation & kingdom & patience of Jesus Christ & was on the island of Patmos for the word of God & for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

[Background Information Analysis: Both Isaiah and the Apostle John were specially chosen by God to share the prophecy about significant information with others. These are consistent. Of course, it is absurd to think that Isaiah would have had to be imprisoned as John was in order for these passages to be consistent. The analysis of this Biblical Research project is based on the consistency or inconsistency of passages shared. If there are inconsistencies, a determination will be made to whether any inconsistencies are even significant. See the Analysis Note at the end of this section.]

Important Information

  • Isaiah 65:17-19 “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, And her people a joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, And joy in My people; The voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, Nor the voice of crying.”
  • Rev 22:11-17 He said to John, “Do not seal the words of this prophecy of this book for the time is at hand. He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.” “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with me to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha & the Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last.” Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life & may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs, sorcerers, sexually immoral, murderers, idolaters & whoever loves & practices a lie. “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root & the Offspring of David, the Bright & Morning Star.” The Spirit & the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
  • Isaiah 66:22 “For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the Lord, “So shall your descendants and your name remain.”
  • Rev 2:5 “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent & do the first works or else I will come to you quickly & remove your lampstand from its place.”
  • Isaiah 56:5-6 “Even to them I will give in My house And within My walls a place and a name Better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name That shall not be cut off. Also the sons of the foreigner Who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him, And to love the name of the Lord to be His servants- Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, And holds fast My covenant-”
  • Rev 3:15-18  I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you re luke-warm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy & have need of nothing & do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind & naked- I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich: & white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; & anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
  • Isaiah 58:13-14 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of the Lord honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; and I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the Lord has spoken.
  • Rev 21:8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters & all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire & brimstone, which is the 2nd death.”
  •  Isaiah 60:18-21 Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, Neither wasting nor destruction with your borders; But you shall call your walls Salvation, And your gates Praise. The sun shall no longer be your light by day, Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; But the Lord will be to you and everlasting light, And your God your glory. Your sun shall no longer go down, Nor shall your moon withdraw itself; For the Lord will be your everlasting light, And the days of your mourning shall be ended. Also your people shall all be righteous; They shall inherit the land forever, The branch of My planting, The work of My hands, That I may be glorified.
  • Rev 22:7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
  • Rev 21:6 He said to John, “It is done! I am the Alpha & the Omega, the Beginning & the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
  • Isaiah 44:6 ‘Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.

[Important Information Analysis: God had either Isaiah or the Apostle John share what God determines is important for people to know and covers a wide variety of topics. It is focused on: letting people know what God approves of and what He doesn’t, what is needed for salvation in heaven, and the outcome of those who don’t change their wicked ways. These are both consistent.]

Foretelling about the Birth of Jesus to the Virgin Mary

  • Isaiah 7:14-16 “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good. For before the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her kings.”
  • Rev 12:1-6 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet & on her head was a garland of 12 stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor & pain to give birth. Another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having 7 heads & 10 horns & 7 diadems [crowns] on his heads. His tail drew  ⅓ of the stars of heaven & threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child [Jesus] who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron, Her Child was caught up to God & His throne.
  • Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

[Foretelling about the Birth of Jesus Analysis: The Book of Isaiah foretells about Jesus’ birth, but calls Him Immanuel, one of the many names of our Lord. In doing all this research, I am impressed that Jesus’ birth was foretold around 700 years before He was born of the Virgin Mary. Pretty impressive, in my opinion! Revelation talks about Jesus’ birth in the symbolism of the sign about the woman about to give birth and bore a male Child, especially since the word Child was capitalized. Although the description about Jesus’ birth in Revelation isn’t as easy to understand, they are both consistent in topic.]

Foretelling about Jesus’ Life

  • Isaiah 42:5-9 Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it: “I, the Lord, have called You [Jesus] in righteousness, And will hold up Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles. To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house. I am the Lord, that is My name: and My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images. Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
  • Rev 3:18-21 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich: & white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; & anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous & repent. Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice & opens the door, I will come in to him & dine with him & he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I, also overcame & sat down with My Father on His throne

[Foretelling about Jesus’ Life Analysis: The Book of Isaiah has that Jesus will be a light to the Gentiles, open blind eyes, and will bring prisoners from the prisons and those who sit in darkness in prisons. Revelation talks about Jesus anointing eyes with eye salve so that they may see. Both are consistent in speaking of Jesus healing and/or helping people overcome predicaments.

Jesus’ Being Questioned

  • Isaiah 50:5-6 I [foretelling of Jesus being questioned before His crucifixion] The Lord God has opened My ear; And was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away. I gave My back to those who struck Me, And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.
  • Rev 1:4-6 John is to share this information with the 7 churches in Asia from Him who is & was & is to come & from the 7 spirits who are before His throne & Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead & ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us & washed us from our sins in His own blood & has made us kings & priests to His God & Father, to Him be glory & dominion forever & ever. Amen.

[Jesus’ Being Questioned Analysis: These are both consistent, although Revelation goes on to tell how Jesus loved us and washed our sins away with His blood.]

Jesus Being Crucified

  • Isaiah 53:2-9 For He [foretelling of Jesus’ crucifixion] shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows: Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And they made His grave with the wicked- But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth.
  • Rev 1:7-8 He [Christ] is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Amen. “I am the Alpha & the Omega, the Beginning & the End,” says the Lord, “who is & who was & who is to come, the Almighty.”
  • Rev 1:17-18 When he saw Jesus, John fell at His feet as if dead, but Jesus laid His right hand on him saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the First & the Last, I am He who lives & was dead, & behold I am alive forevermore. Amen
  • Rev 5:9  And they sang a new song saying:”You are worthy to take the scroll, & to open its seals: For You were slain, & have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe & tongue & people & nation,
  •  Rev 5:11-12 Then John heard the voice of many angels, living creatures & elders around the throne & the number of them was 10,000 x 10,000 + 1,000’s +1,000’s saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power & riches & wisdom & strength & honor & glory & blessing!”
  • Isaiah 53:10-12 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him [Jesus],; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.
  • Rev 12:10-17 John heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “ Now salvation & strength & the kingdom of our God & the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.  And they overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb & by the word of their testimony & they did not love their lives until death.

[Jesus’ Being Crucified Analysis: These passages in both The Book of Isaiah and Revelation are consistent in reporting how we are saved by Jesus’ death, resurrection, and ascension to heaven: He bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors, He was wounded/cut off from the land of the living for our transgressions, He who lives, was dead & is alive forevermore, He has borne our griefs, by His stripes we are healed, He was slain & has redeemed us to God by His blood, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive...honor, glory & blessing, and overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb.]

Salvation through Jesus

  • Rev 3:19-22 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous & repent. Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice & opens the door, I will come in to him & dine with him & he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I, also overcame & sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
  • Rev 5:9  And they sang a new song saying:”You are worthy to take the scroll, & to open its seals: For You were slain, & have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe & tongue & people & nation,
  • Rev 21:7  He who overcomes shall inherit all things & I will be his God & he shall be My son
  • Isaiah 49:8-10 Thus says the Lord: “In an acceptable time I have heard You, And in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You As a covenant to the people, To restore the earth, To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages; That You may say to the prisoners, ‘Go forth.’ To those who are in darkness, “Show yourselves.’ “They shall feed along the roads, And their pastures shall be on all desolate heights. They shall neither hunger nor thirst, Neither heat nor sun shall strike them; For He [Jesus] who has mercy on them will lead them, Even by the springs of water He will guide them.”
  • Rev 7:9-12 After these, John saw a great multitude which no one could number of all nations, tribes, peoples & tongues, standing before the throne & before the Lamb clothed with white robes & palm branches in their hands. They were crying with a loud voice saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne & to the Lamb!” All the angels stood around the throne & the elders & 4 Living Creatures & fell on their faces before the throne & worshiped God saying, “Amen! Blessing & glory & wisdom, Thanksgiving & honor & power & might, Be to our God forever & ever. Amen”
  • Isaiah 44:6 ‘Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.
  • Rev 2:16-17  Repent, or else I will come to you quickly & will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. The Spirit says to the churches: to him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna to eat & I will give them a white stone, & on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”
  • Rev 2:25-29 But hold fast what you have till I come. “And He who overcomes & sees My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations-’He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels, as I also have received from My Father; & I will give him the morning star. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
  • Rev 3:7-8 John writes to the church of Philadelphia for the Holy Spirit, “These things says He who is holy, He who is true. H who has the key of David, He who opens & no one shuts, & shuts & no one opens.” I [Jesus] know your works, I set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word & have not denied My name.”
  • Isaiah 63:7-9 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord And the praises of the Lord, According to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, According to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses. For He said, “Surely they are My people, Children who will not lie.” So He [Jesus] became their Savior. In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them All the days of old.
  • Rev 3:10-13 “Because you have kept My command to persevere. I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God & he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God & the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which will come down out of heaven from My God. I will write on him My new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
  • Isaiah 57:13 When you cry out, Let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind will carry them all away, A breath will take them. But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land, And shall inherit My holy Mountain.”
  • Rev 2:8-11 John should write to: “the angel of the church in Smyrna: From the First & the Last, who was dead, & came to life
  • Rev 7:13-14 One of the elders answered John saying, “Who are these arrayed in white robes & where did they come from?” John told him that he didn’t know. So he [the angel] told John, “They are the ones who come out of the great tribulation & washed their robes & made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
  • Isaiah 25:8-9 He [God] will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth for the Lord has spoken. And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him & He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him; We will be glad & rejoice in His salvation.”
  • Rev 1:17-18 When he saw Jesus, John fell at His feet as if dead, but Jesus laid His right hand on him saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the First & the Last, I am He who lives & was dead, & behold I am alive forevermore. Amen.
  • Isaiah 40:11 He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.
  • Rev 12:10-17 John heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “ Now salvation & strength & the kingdom of our God & the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb & by the word of their testimony & they did not love their lives until death.

[Salvation through Jesus Analysis: Both the Book of Isaiah and Revelation are extremely consistent in stating that our Salvation comes through our faith in Jesus: he who overcomes can sit with Me on My throne, bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors, He was slain and redeemed us to God by His blood, He [Jesus] who has mercy on them will lead them,  the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts, So He [Jesus] became their Savior, Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne & to the Lamb!

[God the Creator of Everything, First & Last, Alpha & Omega, Beginning & End Analysis: There was a wealth of consistent evidence in both The Book of Isaiah and Revelation about God being the Creator:  I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things,  These things says the Amen, the Faithful & True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, Worship Him who made heaven & earth, the sea & springs of water,‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God,  Who formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord and there is no other,God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it    You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory & honor & power; For You created all things, & by Your will they exist & were created.]

About Heaven

  • Isaiah 65:17-19 “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, And her people a joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, And joy in My people; The voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, Nor the voice of crying.”
  • Isaiah 66:22 “For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the Lord, “So shall your descendants and your name remain.”
  • Rev 21:1-8 John saw a new heaven & a new earth, for the 1st heaven & the 1st earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. He heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men & He will dwell with them & they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them & be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” He said to John, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” He said to John, “It is done! I am the Alpha & the Omega, the Beginning & the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things & I will be his God & he shall be My son.
  • Isaiah 11:10 “And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious.”
  • Rev 4:1-6 John saw a door standing open in heaven. The first voice he heard was like a trumpet speaking with him, saying, “Come up here & I will show you things which must take place after this. He was immediately in the Spirit & behold a throne set in heaven, & One sat on the throne. He who sat on there was like jasper & sardius stone in appearance there was a rainbow around the throne, In appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were 24 thrones &  John saw 24 elders sitting, clothed in white robes & they had crowns of gold on their heads. From the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings & voices. 7 lamps of fire were burning before the throne which are the 7 Spirits of God. Before the throne there was a sea of glass & in the midst of the throne & around about the throne, were 4 living creatures full of eyes in front & in back.
  • Rev 3:4-6 I have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; & they shall walk with Me in white, because they are worthy. He who overcomes will be clothed in white garments & I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but will confess his name before My Father & before His angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
  • Rev 21: 9-27 One of the angels who had the 7 bowls filled with the 7 last plagues came to John & talked with him saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” He carried John away in the Spirit to a great & high mountain & showed him the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone clear as crystal. She had a great & high wall with 12 gates & 12 angels at the gates & names written on them which are the name of the 12 tribes of the children of Israel: 3 gates on the east, 3 gates on the north, 3 gates on the south & 3 gates on the west. The wall of the city had 12 foundations & on them were the names of the 12 apostles of the Lamb. He who talked with John had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates & its wall. The city is laid out as a square, its length is as great as its breadth. John measured the city with the reed: 12,000 furlongs. It’s length, breadth & height are equal. He measured its wall: 144 cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. The construction of its wall as jasper & the city was pure gold like clear glass. The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the 1st foundation was jasper, the 2nd sapphire, the 3rd chalcedony, the 4th emerald, the 5th sardonyx, the 6th sardius, the 7th chrysolite, the 8th beryl, the 9th topaz, the 10th chrysoprase, the 11th jacinth, and the 12th amethyst. The 12 gates were 12 pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. The street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. He saw no temple in it for the Lord God Almighty & the Lamb are its temple. The city had no need of the sun or the moon to shine in it for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. The nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light & the kings of the earth bring their glory & honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). They shall bring the glory & the honor of the nations into it. There shall by no means enter it anything that defiles or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life
  • Isaiah 49:8-10 Thus says the Lord: “In an acceptable time I have heard You, And in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You As a covenant to the people, To restore the earth, To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages; That You may say to the prisoners, ‘Go forth.’ To those who are in darkness, “Show yourselves.’ “They shall feed along the roads, And their pastures shall be on all desolate heights. They shall neither hunger nor thirst, Neither heat nor sun shall strike them; For He [Jesus] who has mercy on them will lead them, Even by the springs of water He will guide them.”
  • Rev 22:1-7 He  [angel] showed John a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God & of the Lamb. In the middle of its street & on either side of the river was the tree of life, which bore 12 fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There shall be no more curse, but the throne of God & the Lamb shall be in it & His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face & His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever & ever. Then he said to John, “These words are faithful & true.” The Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place. “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
  • Rev 3:10-13 Because you have kept My command to persevere.
  • Rev 7:15-17 Therefore they are before the throne of God & serve Him day & night in His temple. He who sits on the throne will dwell among them . They shall neither hunger nor thirst anymore. The sun shall not strike them nor any heat for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them & lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
  • Rev 11:19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven & the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. There were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake & great hail.
  • Rev 19:14-16 The armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white & clean followed Him on white horses. Out of His mouth goes a sharp sword that with it He should strike the nations. He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness & wrath of Almighty God. He has on His robe & on His thigh a name written: King Of Kings And Lord Of Lords

[About Heaven Analysis: This primarily consists of descriptions of heaven, but both the Book of Isaiah and Revelation are consistent in what a wonderful and desired place heaven is: For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the Lord, God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away, for the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious, The sun shall no longer be your light by day, Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; But the Lord will be to you and everlasting light, and your God your glory,  the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone clear as crystal.

Description of Heavenly Beings

Living Creatures

  • Rev 4:6 Before the throne there was a sea of glass & in the midst of the throne & around about the throne, were 4 living creatures full of eyes in front & in back.
  • Rev 4:7-11 The 1st living creature was like a lion, the 2nd living creature like a calf, the 3rd living creature had a face like a man & the 4th living creature was like a flying eagle.

[Living Creature Analysis: Revelation talks about the four Living Creatures, but the Book of Isaiah doesn’t. Is that an inconsistency? Maybe yes, and maybe no. Just because Isaiah doesn’t mention them, doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Also, it could be that in Isaiah’s visions, he didn’t see Living Creatures. Another explanation would be that the Seraphim that Isaiah mentions are the Living Creatures, because Isaiah also mentions angels. Regardless of what the reason is that Isaiah doesn’t mention Living Creatures, or some other reason all together, isn’t really significant. None of this really relates to consistencies or inconsistencies in the end of the world prophecy.]

Angels/Seraphim

  • Isaiah 6:2 Above it stood seraphim [high ranking angels]; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.
  • Rev 10:1-11 John saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun & his feet like pillars of fire. He had a little book open in his hand. He set his right foot on the sea & his left foot on the land & cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, 7 thunders uttered their voices.
  • Isaiah 6:6-7 Then one of the seraphim [angels] flew to me [Isaiah], having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.”
  • Isaiah 6:3 And one [seraphim/angel] cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!”
  •  Rev 5:2 Then he saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll & to loose its seals?”
  • Rev 7:1  After these things, John saw 4 angels standing at the 4 corners of the earth holding the 4 winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, sea or any tree.
  • Rev 22:8-9 Now I, John, saw & heard these things & fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed him these things. He said to me, “See that you do not do that for I am your fellow servants & of your brethren the prophets & of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
  • Rev 8:1-4 When He opened the 7th seal, there was silence in heaven for about ½ hour. John saw the 7 angels who stand before God were given 7 trumpets. Another angel having a golden censer came & stood at the altar. He was given much incense that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.
  • Rev 9:11 They had a king over them, the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.
  • Rev 18:1After these things John saw another angel coming from heaven having great authority & the earth was illuminated with his glory.
  • Rev 19:9-10 Then he [angel] said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to John, “These are the true sayings of God.” John fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to John, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant & your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
  • Rev 15:6 John saw that the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. Out of the temple came the 7 angels with the 7 plagues clothed in pure bright linen with their chest girded with golden bands.
  • Rev 17:7-8 One of the 4 Living Creatures gave to the 7 angels 7 golden bowls of the wrath of God who lives forever & ever. The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God & from His power & no one was able to enter the temple till the 7 plagues of the 7 angels were completed.
  • Rev 16:1 John heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the 7 angels, “Go & pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.
  • Rev 16:2 The 1st [angel] went & poured out his bowl upon the earth & a foul & loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast & those who worshiped his image.

[Angel/Seraphim Analysis: Actually both the Book of Isaiah and Revelation are pretty consistent and have lots of interesting details about Angels/Seraphim:  each one had six wings, John saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud 4 angels standing at the 4 corners of the earth holding the 4 winds of the earth, John saw another angel coming from heaven having great authority & the earth was illuminated with his glory.

  • Rev 1:10-11 John was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day when he heard a loud voice behind him like a trumpet saying, “I am the Alpha & the Omega, the First & the Last. What You see, write in a book & send it to the 7 churches in Asia: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, & Laodicea.”
  • Rev 1:12-16 John turned to see the voice that spoke with him & saw 7 golden lampstands. In the midst of the 7 lampstands, One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet & girded about the chest with a golden band. His head & hair were white as snow & His eyes like a flame of fire. His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace & His voice as the sound of many waters. Jesus had in His right hand 7 stars & out of His mouth went a two-edged sword. His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
  • Isaiah 12:4-6 And in that day you will say: “Praise the Lord, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth. Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!”
  • Rev 5:13-14 And every creature which is in heaven, on earth & under it & such as are in the sea & all that are in them, he heard saying, “Blessing & honor & glory & power Be to Him who sits on the throne, & to the Lamb, forever & ever!” Then the 4 living creatures said, “Amen!” The 24 elders fell down & worshipped Him who lives forever & ever.
  • Rev 2:18 John writes to the church of Thyatira: “These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire & His feet like fine brass;
  • Rev 19:11 John saw the heaven opened & behold a white horse & He who sat on him was called Faithful & True & in righteousness He judges & makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire & on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood & His name is called The Word of God
  • Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I [Isaiah] saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple

[The Description of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Analysis: Both the Book of Isaiah and Revelation have pretty consistent information related to God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Both of their descriptions cover a wide range of facets of God: I am the Alpha & the Omega, the First & the Last, One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet & girded about the chest with a golden band. His head & hair were white as snow & His eyes like a flame of fire. His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace & His voice as the sound of many waters, He [Jesus] who sat on him [white horse] was called Faithful & True & in righteousness He judges & makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire & on His head were many crowns.

Babylon

  • Rev 14:8 Another angel followed saying, “Babylon, that great city is fallen, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
  • Isaiah 14:22-23 “For I will rise up against them,” says the Lord of hosts, “And cut off from Babylon the name & remnant, And offspring & posterity,” says the Lord. “I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, And marshes of muddy water; I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” says the Lord of hosts.
  • Rev 16:19 The great city was divided into 3 parts & the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.
  • Rev 18:1-3 After these things John saw another angel coming from heaven having great authority & the earth was illuminated with his glory. He cried mightily saying loudly, “Babylon the great is fallen & has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit & cage for every unclean & hated bird! All the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her & the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”
  • Rev 18:4-16 John heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins & lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven & God has remembered her iniquities. Render to her as she did to you, but repay her double, because she glorified herself & lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment & sorrow for she says, ‘I sit as a queen & will not see sorrow.’ Therefore her plagues will come in 1 day-death & mourning & famine. She [the City of Babylon] will be utterly burned with fire for strong is the Lord God who judges her. The kings of the earth who committed fornication & lived luxuriously with her will weep & lament for her when they see the smoke of her burning, saying, “Alas that great city Babylon that mighty city! For in 1 hour your judgement has come.’ The merchants will weep & mourn over her for no one buys their merchandise of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, etc.
  • Isaiah 2:12-18 For the day of the Lord of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up- and it shall be brought low- Upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, And upon all the oaks of Bashan; Upon all the high mountains, And upon all the hills that are lifted up; Upon every high tower, And upon every fortified wall; Upon all the ships of Tarshish, And upon all the beautiful sloops [1 masted sailboat], The loftiness [pride] of man shall be bowed down, And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; The Lord alone will be exalted in that day, But idols He shall utterly abolish.
  • Rev 18:21-22 A mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone & threw it into the sea saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down & shall not be found anymore, the sound of harpists, musicians, flutists & trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore, No craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore & the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore. Etc.
  • Isaiah 48:10-15 “For you [Babylon] have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, ‘No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’ Therefore evil shall come upon you; You shall not know from where it arises. And trouble shall fall upon you; You will not be able to put it off. And desolation shall come upon you suddenly, Which you shall not know. Stand now with your enchantments And the multitude of your sorceries, In which you have labored from your youth- Perhaps you will be able to  profit, Perhaps you will prevail. You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels; Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, And the monthly prognosticators [those who make predictions based on the stars] Stand up and save you From what shall come upon you. Behold, they shall be as stubble, The fire shall burn them; They shall not deliver themselves From the power of the flame; It shall not be a coal to be warmed by, Nor a fire to sit before! Thus shall they be to you With whom you have labored, Your merchants from your youth; They shall wander each one to his quarter. No one shall save you.
  • Rev 18:24 In her was found the blood of prophets & saints & all who were slain on the earth.”
  • Isaiah 57:3-4 “But come here, You sons of the sorceress, You offspring of the adulterer and the harlot! Whom do you ridicule? Against whom do you make a wide mouth And stick out the tongue? Are you not the children of transgression, Offspring of falsehood,”
  • Rev 19:1-3 After these things John heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “Alleluia! Salvation & glory & honor & power belong to the Lord our God! For true & righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication & He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” Again they said, “Alleluia. Her smoke rises up forever & ever!”

[Babylon Analysis: Although both the Book of Isaiah and Revelation are very consistent, I’m not going to analyze them further. I received some unrequested literature in the mail that stated that Babylon, that is to be destroyed, is the Vatican.  I can’t tell you for sure, but I really think that what was in the Bible is an analogy speaking of Babylon in relation to all corrupt cities, merchants, etc. that lead others away from their focus in Christ, our Lord and His commandments. I went to] Your Dictionary.com at https://examples.yourdictionary.com/analogy-ex.html

I got the following information that explains what an analogy is.

Analogy Examples

“At its most basic, an analogy is a comparison of two things to show their similarities. Sometimes the things being compared are quite similar, but other times they could be very different. Nevertheless, an analogy explains one thing in terms of another to highlight the ways in which they are alike.”

[Again, although I can’t tell you for sure, I think the information in this book of the Bible about Babylon is an example of all corrupt cities, merchants, etc. who lead people astray. Does it matter that I don’t have a definitive answer for this or for the other information related to the literature I received in the mail? No, it doesn’t. I will explain further in the End of the World Prediction Analysis.]

What the Bible Says Some of the Signs Mean

  • Rev 1:19-20 Write the things which you have seen & the things which will take place after this. The mystery of the 7 stars which you saw in My right hand are the angels of the 7 churches, & the 7 golden lampstands are the 7 churches.”
  • Rev 5:6 John saw in the midst of the throne & of the 4 living creatures & the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having 7 horns & 7 eyes, which are the 7 Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
  • Rev 18:9-18 [The angel tells John] “Here is the mind which has wisdom: the 7 heads are 7 mountains on which the woman sits. There are also 7 kings. 5 have fallen, 1 is & the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a short time. The beast that was & is not is himself also the 8th & is of the 7 & is going to perdition. The 10 horns are 10 kings who have received no kingdom yet, but they  receive authority for 1 hour as kings with the beast. These are of 1 mind & they will give their power & authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb and the Lamb will overcome them for He is Lord of lords & King of kings & those who are with Him are called, chosen & faithful. The angel told John,  “The waters which you saw where the harlot sits are peoples, multitudes, nations & tongues. The 10 horns you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot & make her desolate & naked, eat her flesh & burn her with fire.  For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose to be of 1 mind & to give their kingdom to the beast until the words of God are fulfilled. The woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”
  • Rev 16:12-16 The 6th angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates & its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. John saw 3 unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast & out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are [the] spirits of demons, performing signs which go out to the kings of the earth & of the whole world to gather them to the battle of the great day of God Almighty. “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches & keeps his garments, lest he walk naked & they see his shame.” They gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.
The woman whom you saw is that great city [Babylon] which reigns over the kings of the earth.”

  • Rev 6:9-11 [5th Seal] When He opened the 5th seal, John saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God & for the testimony which they held. They cried with a loud voice saying, “How long, O Lord, holy & true until You judge & avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them & it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants & their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
  • Rev 6:12-17 [6th Seal] John looked when He opened the 6th seal & behold there was a great earthquake; & the sun became black as sackcloth of hair & the moon became like blood, the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. The sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up & every mountain & island was moved out of its place. The kings of the earth, great men, rich men, commanders, mighty men, every slave & every free man hid themselves in the caves & the rocks of the mountains & said to the mountains & rocks, “Fall on us & hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne & from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come & who is able to stand?”
  • Isaiah 34:4 All the host of heaven shall be dissolved,  And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll; All their host shall fall down As the leaf falls from the vine, And as fruit falling from a fig tree.
  • Isaiah 2:17-21 The loftiness [pride] of man shall be bowed down, And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; The Lord alone will be exalted in that day, But the idols He shall utterly abolish. They shall go into the holes of the rocks, And into the caves of the earth, From the terror of the Lord And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily. In that day a man will cast away his idols of silver And his idols of gold, Which they made, each for himself to worship, To the moles and bats, To go into the clefts of the rocks, And into the crags of the rugged rocks, From the terror of the Lord And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily.
  • Rev 7:2-8 John saw another angel ascending from the east having the seal of the living God & he cried with a loud voice to the 4 angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth & sea saying, “Do not harm the earth, sea, or trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” John heard the number of those sealed:144,00 of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed. 12,000 each of the following tribes were sealed: Tribes of Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin.
Amen”
  • Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
  • Rev 7:13-14 One of the elders answered John saying, “Who are these arrayed in white robes & where did they come from?” John told him that he knew. So he told John, “They are the ones who come out of the great tribulation & washed their robes & made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
  • Rev 8:5-6 [7th Seal] Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar & threw it to the earth. There were noises, thunderings, lightnings & an earthquake. So the 7 angels sounded who had the 7 trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
  • Isaiah 6:4-5 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. So I [Isaiah] said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.”
  • Isaiah 29:6 You will be punished by the Lord of hosts With thunder and earthquake and great noise, With storm and tempest And the flame of devouring fire.
  • Rev 8:7 1st angel sounded & Hail & fire followed, mingled with blood & they were thrown to the earth. ⅓ of the trees  were burned up & all green grass was burned up.
  • Isaiah 15:6 For the waters of Nimrim will be desolate, For the green grass has withered away; The grass fails, there is nothing green.
  • Rev 8:8-9 2nd angel sounded: & something like a great mountain, burning with fire was thrown into the sea & ⅓ of the sea became blood & ⅓ of the living creatures in the sea died & ⅓ of ships were destroyed.
  • Isaiah 15:8-9 For the cry has gone all around the borders of Moab, Its wailing to Eglaim And its wailing to Beer Elim. For the waters of Dimon [Dead Sea] will be full of blood; Because I will bring more upon Dimon, Lions upon him who escapes from Moab, And on the remnant of the land.”
  • Rev 8:10-11 3rd angel sounded: a great star fell from heaven burning like a torch & fell on ⅓  of rivers & springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood & ⅓ of the water became wormwood & many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.
  • Rev 8:12-13 4th angel sounded: ⅓ of the sun was struck, ⅓ of the moon & ⅓ of the stars were darkened. ⅓  of the day did not shine & likewise the night. John looked and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the 3 angels who are about to sound!”
  • Rev 9:1-4 5th angel sounded: & John saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. He opened the bottomless pit & smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun & the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth & to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
  • Rev 9:10-12 They had tails like scorpions & there were stings in their tails.Their power was to hurt men 5 months. They had a king over them, the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon. One woe is past. Behold, still 2 more woes are coming after these things.
  • Isaiah 13:9-13 Behold, the day of the Lord comes, Cruel, with both wrath & fierce anger, To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not give their light; The sun will be darkened in its going forth, And the moon will not cause its light to shine. “I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, And the earth will move out of her place, In the wrath of the Lord of hosts And in the day of His fierce anger.”
  • Rev 9:13-21 6th angel sounded: & John heard a voice from the 4 horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the 6th angel who had the trumpet, “Release the 4 angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So the 4 angels who had been prepared for the hour & day & month & year were released to kill ⅓ of mankind.John heard the number of the army of the horsemen: was 200 million. He saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue & sulphur yellow & the heads of the  horses were like the heads of Lions & out of their mouths came fire, smoke & brimstone. By these 3 plagues ⅓ of mankind was killed-by fire & smoke & brimstone which came out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth & tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads & with them they do harm. The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons & idols of gold, silver, brass, stone & wood which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.
  • Isaiah 9:18-19 For wickedness burns as the fire; It shall devour the briers and thorns, And kindle in the thickets of the forest; They shall mount up like rising smoke. Through the wrath of the Lord of hosts The land is burned up, And the people shall be as fuel for the fire; No man shall spare his brother.
  • Isaiah 57:13 When you cry out, Let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind will carry them all away, A breath will take them. But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land, And shall inherit My holy Mountain.”
  • Isaiah 65:11-12 But you are those who forsake the Lord, Who forget My holy mountain, Who prepare a table for Gad [a pagan deity], And who furnish a drink offering for Meni [a pagan deity]. Therefore I will number you for the sword, And you shall all bow down to the slaughter; Because, when I called, you did not answer; When I spoke, you did not hear, But did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight.”
When the 7 thunders uttered their voices, John was about to write; but heard a voice saying to him, “Seal up the things which the 7 thunders uttered & do not write them.” The angel John saw standing on the sea & on the land raise up his hand to heaven & swore by Him who lives forever & ever, who created heaven & the things that are in it & earth & the things that are in it & the sea & the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer, but in the days of the sounding of the 7th angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets. Then the voice that he heard from heaven spoke to him again & said, “Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea & on the earth.” So John went to the angel & said to him, “Give me the little book.” And he said to John, “Take & eat it & it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.” Then John took the little book out of the angel’s hand & ate it & it was as sweet as honey in his mouth, but when he had eaten it, his stomach became bitter. He said to John, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues & kings." But leave out the court which is outside the temple, & do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for 42 months.
  • Rev 11:3-6 I will give power to my 2 Witnesses & they will prophesy 1,260 days clothed in sackcloth.” These are 2 olive trees & the 2 lampstands standing before the God of the earth. If anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth & devours their enemies, If anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. These have power to shut heaven, so no rain falls in the days of their prophecy & they have power over waters to turn them to blood & to strike the earth with all plagues as often as they desire.
  •  Rev 11:7-12 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them & kill them. Their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom & Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Then those from the people, tribes, tongues & nations will see their dead bodies 3 ½ days & not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves. Those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry & send gifts to one another, because these 2 prophets tormented those who dwell on earth.  After 3 ½ days the breath of life from God entered them & they stood on their feet & great fear fell on those who saw them. And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven in a cloud & their enemies saw them.
  • Isaiah 3:8-9 For Jerusalem stumbled, And Judah is fallen, Because their tongue and their doings Are against the Lord, To provoke the eyes of His glory. The look on their countenance witnesses against them, And they declare their sin as Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves.
  • Rev 11:13-14 In the same hour, there was a great earthquake & 1/10 of the city fell. In the earthquake 7,000 people were killed & the rest were afraid & gave glory to the God of heaven. The Second Woe is past. Behold the third is coming quickly.
  • Rev 11:15-19 The 7th angel sounded: Loud voices in heaven saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord & His Christ & He shall reign forever & ever!” 24 elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces & worshipped God saying, “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is  & who was & who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power & reigned. The nations were angry & Your wrath has come & the time of the dead, that they should be judged, & that You should reward Your servants the prophets & the saints, & those who fear Your name, small & great, & should destroy those who destroy the earth.” Then the temple of God was opened in heaven & the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. There were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake & great hail.
  • Isaiah 11:1-4 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch [Jesus] shall grow out of his roots . The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom & understanding, The Spirit of counsel & might, The Spirit of knowledge & of the fear of the Lord. His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears; But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.
She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron, Her Child was caught up to God & His throne. The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God that they should feed her there 1,260 days.
  • Rev 12:7-9 And war broke out in heaven. Micahel & his angels fought with the dragon & the dragon & his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. The great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old called the Devil & Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth & his angels were cast out with him.
  • Isaiah 14:29-31 “Do not rejoice, all you of  Philistia, Because the rod that struck you is broken; For out of the serpent’s roots will come forth a viper, And its offspring will be a fiery flying serpent.”
  • Rev 12-12-17 Rejoice, O heavens & you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth & the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” When the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child [Jesus].  The woman was given 2 wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place where she is nourished for a time & times & half a time, from the presence of the serpent. The serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. But the earth helped the woman & the earth opened its mouth & swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. The dragon was enraged with the woman & he went to make war with the rest of her offspring [Christians], who keep the commandments of God & have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
  • Rev 13:1-10 John stood on the sand of the sea & saw a beast rising up out of the sea having 7 heads & 10 horns each with a crown & on his heads was a blasphemous name. The beast he saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, & his mouth like the lion. The dragon gave him power, his throne & great authority. He saw 1 of the heads had been mortally wounded & his deadly wound was healed. All the world marveled & followed the beast. They worshipped the dragon who gave authority to the beast & worshiped the beast saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” He was given a mouth speaking great things, blasphemies & was given authority to continue for 42 months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, & those who dwell in heaven. It was granted him to make war with the saints & to overcome them. Authority was given him over every tribe, tongue & nation.  All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience & the faith of the saints.
  • Rev 13:11-18 John saw another beast coming up out of the earth & he had 2 horns like a lamb & spoke like a dragon. He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence & causes the earth & those who dwell in it to worship the 1st beast whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. He deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword & lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast should both speak & cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small & great, rich & poor, free & slave to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, & that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: HIs number is 666.
  • Rev 14:1-5 John saw a Lamb standing on Mount Zion & with Him 144,000 having HIs Father’s name written on their foreheads.
  • Rev 14:6-7 John saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth-to every nation, tribe, tongue & people-saying with a loud voice, “Fear God & give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come. Worship Him who made heaven & earth, the sea & springs of water.”
  • Rev 14:9-11 Then, a 3rd angel followed saying, “If anyone worships the beast & his image & receives his mark on his forehead or his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire & brimstone in the presence of the holy angels in the presence of the Lamb. The smoke of their torment ascends forever & ever & they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast & his image & whoever receives the mark of his name.”
  • John heard a voice from heaven saying to him, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on that they may rest from their labors & works follow them,” says the Spirit. He saw a white cloud with One like the Son of Man sitting on it, having a golden crown on his head & a sharp sickle in His hand. Another angel came out of the temple crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle & reap for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth & the earth was reaped.”
  • Isaiah 66:15-16 For behold, the Lord will come with fire And with His chariots, like a whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by His sword The Lord will judge all flesh; And the slain of the Lord shall be many.
  • Rev 14:19-20 So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth & gathered the vine of the earth & threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. The winepress was trampled outside the city & blood came out of the winepress of the wrath of God up to the horses’ bridles for 1,600 furlongs
  • Isaiah 13:4-8 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, Like that of many people! A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together! The Lord of hosts musters The army for battles. They come from a far country, For the end of heaven- The Lord and His weapons of indignation, To destroy the whole land. Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man’s heart will melt, And they will be afraid. Pangs & sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames.
  • Rev 15:1-2 John saw another sign in heaven, great & marvelous, 7 angels having the 7 last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete. He saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire & those who have the victory over the beast & his image & his mark & over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.
  • Rev 16:2 The 1st [angel] went & poured out his bowl upon the earth & a foul & loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast & those who worshiped his image.
  • Rev 16:3 The 2nd angel poured out his bowl on the sea & it became blood as of a dead man & every living creature in the sea died.
  • Rev 16:4-7 The 3rd angel poured out his bowl on the rivers & springs of water & they became blood. He heard the angel of the waters saying, “You are righteous, O Lord, The One who is & who was & who is to be, Because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints & prophets, And You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.” He heard another from the altar saying, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true & righteous are Your judgments.”
  • Rev 16:8-9 The 4th angel poured out his bowl on the sun & power was given to him to scorch men with fire. Men were scorched with great heat & they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues & they did not repent & give Him glory.
  • Rev 16:10-11The 5th angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast & his kingdom became full of darkness; & they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains & their sores & did not repent of their deeds.
Blessed is he who watches & keeps his garments, lest he walk naked & they see his shame. They gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.
  • Isaiah 19:5-8 The waters will fail from the sea, And the river will be wasted & dried up. The rivers will turn foul; The brooks of defense will be emptied & dried up; The reeds & rushes will wither. The papyrus reeds by the River, by the mouth of the River And everything sown by the River [Nile], Will wither, be driven away, and be no more. The fishermen also will mourn; All those will lament who cast hooks into the River, And they will languish who spread nets on the waters.
  • Rev 16:17-21 The 7th angel poured out his bowl into the air & a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven from the throne saying, “It is done!” And there were noises & thunderings & lightnings & there was a great earthquake, such a mighty & great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. The great city was divided into 3 parts & the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. Then every island fled away & the mountains were not found. Great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.
  • Isaiah 6:11-12 Then I [Isaiah] said, “Lord, how long?” And He answered: “Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, The houses are without a man, the land is utterly desolate, The Lord has removed men far away, And the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land. But yet a tenth will be in it, And will return and be for consuming, As a terebinth tree or as an oak, Whose stump remains when it is cut down. So the holy seed shall be its stump.
  • Isaiah 14:5-11 “The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers; He who struck the people in wrath with a continual stroke, He who ruled the nations in anger, Is persecuted & no one hinders. The whole earth is at rest & quiet; They break forth into singing. Indeed the cypress trees rejoice over you, And the cedars of Lebanon,  Saying, ‘Since you were cut down, No woodsman has come up against us.’ “Hell from beneath is excited about you, To meet you at your coming; It stirs up the dead for you, All the chief ones of the earth; It has raised up from their thrones All the kings of the nations. They all shall speak and say to you: ‘Have you also become as weak as we? Your pomp is brought down to Sheol [hell], And the sound of your stringed instruments; The maggot is spread under you, And worms cover you.’ ”
  • Rev 19:6 John heard the voice as it were of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters & as the sound of mighty thunderings saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!”
  • Isaiah 24:3-6 The land shall be entirely emptied & utterly plundered, For the Lord has spoken this word. The earth mourns & fades away, The world languishes and fades away; The haughty [proud] people of the earth languish. The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, And those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, And few men are left.
  • Rev 19:19-21 John saw the beast, kings of the earth, their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse & against His army. Then the beast was captured & with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence by which he deceived those who worshiped his image. These 2 were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. The rest were killed with the sword  which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. All the birds were filled with their flesh.
  •   Rev 20:1- 6 John saw an angel coming down from heaven having the key to the bottomless pit & a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil & Satan & bound him for 1,000 years & he cast him into the bottomless pit & shut him up & set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the 1,000 years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. John saw thrones & they sat on them & judgment was committed to them. Then he saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus & for the word of God who had not worshiped the beast or his image & had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. They lived and reigned with Christ for 1,000 years. The rest of the dead did not live again until the 1,000 years were finished. This is the 1st resurrection. Blessed & holy is he who has part in the 1st resurrection. Over such the 2nd death has no power, but they shall be priests of God & of Christ & shall reign with Him 1,000 years.
  • Isaiah 14:12-20 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer [Satan, devil], son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol [hell], To the lowest depths of the Pit. Those who see you will gaze at you, And consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms, Who made the world as a wilderness And destroyed its cities, Who did not open the house of his prisoners? All the kings of the nations, All of them, sleep in glory, Everyone in his own house; But you are cast out of your grave Like an abominable branch Like the garment of those who are slain, Thrust through with a sword Who go down to the stones of the pit, Like a corpse trodden underfoot. You will not be joined with them in burial, Because you have destroyed your land And slain your people. The brood of evildoers shall never be named.”
  • Rev 20:7-10 When the 1,000 years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison & will go out to deceive the nations which are in the 4 corners of the earth, Gog & Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth & surrounded the camps of the saints & beloved city. Fire came down from God out of heaven & devoured them. The devil, who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire & brimstone where the beast & the false prophet are. They will be tormented day &Night  forever & ever.
  • Isaiah 21:17-23 Fear & the pit and the snare Are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth. And it shall be that he who flees from the noise of the fear Shall fall into the pit, And he who comes up from the midst of the pit Shall be caught in the snare; For the windows from on high are open, And the foundations of the earth are shaken. The earth is violently broken, The earth is split open, The earth is shaken exceedingly. The earth shall reel to & fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall & not rise again. It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones, And on the earth the kings of the earth. They will be gathered together, As prisoners are gathered in the pit, And will be shut up in the prison; After many days they will be punished. Then the moon will be disgraced And the sun ashamed; For the Lord of hosts will reign On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem And before His elders, gloriously.
  • Rev 20:11-15 Then, John saw a great white throne & Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth & the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them. He saw the dead, small & great, standing before God, & books were opened. Another book was opened which is the Book of Life. The dead were judged according to their works, but the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it & Death & Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death & Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the 2nd death. Anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
  • Isaiah 11:11-It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria & Egypt, From Pathros & Cush, From Elam & Shinar, From Hamath & the islands of the seas. He will set up a banner for the nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel, And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.
  • Rev 21:1-7 John saw a new heaven & a new earth, for the 1st heaven & the 1st earth had passed away.
  • Rev 21:8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters & all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire & brimstone, which is the 2nd death.”
Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.
  • Isaiah 11:10 “And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious.”
  • Isaiah 44:6 ‘Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.

……………………………………………………………………..

  • Rev 22:18-20 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this  book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; & if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, & from the things which are written in this book. He who testifies of these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

[The End of World Predictions Analysis follows this Analysis Note.]

Analysis Note: In analyzing these Bible passages for consistencies and inconsistencies, it is important to realize the following.

  • The Apostle John was specifically selected by God to share the prophecy in The Revelation of Jesus Christ.
  • This book of the Bible was focused on sharing the end of the world prophecy, so that people would take heed and change their lives to be aligned with faith in Jesus Christ, their Savior.
  • Isaiah was specifically selected by God to share prophecy on a multitude of things, some-current, some-soon, some-later, and some-the end of world prophecy. Isaiah’s prophecy primarily covered, but isn’t limited to the:
  • Prophecy on the Birth of Jesus Christ.
  • Warning people against idolatry and reminding them to keep the Sabbath day holy.
  • Prophecy about Israel in relation to other countries: Assyria, Moab, Damascus, Ethiopia, Egypt, Jerusalem, Tyre, and Ariel.
  • Prophecy about Babylon.
  • Explaining the downfall of Lucifer [a.k.a. Satan, Devil], an angel no longer welcome in heaven, because he wanted to become more powerful than God.
  • Judgment on the Earth and end of world prophecy. (found in various places throughout this book of the Bible.)
  • Hezekiah, his reign, illness, healing, and downfall.
  • The life, death and resurrection of God’s Son, Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus, our Savior is the Light to the Gentiles and for all who believe in Him.
  • We are called to be a people of God.
  • How we are saved by the stripes Jesus bore for our transgressions to provide salvation for those who believe in Him.
  • The Love of God and His willingness to forgive those who turn from their evil ways and follow Him.
  • This book of the Bible was focused on sharing a variety of information from God, so that people would take heed and change their lives to be aligned with faith in Jesus Christ, their Savior.

[It is my opinion, in that, The Revelation of Jesus Christ is only focused on end of the world prophecy and the Book of Isaiah covers a wide range of topics, as noted above, it would be unreasonable to expect the passages in the Book of Isaiah to have the same level of detail and the same amount of passages focused on end of the world prophecy. Additionally, I am only including the information from the Book of Isaiah that relates to the end of the world prophecy or significantly relates to it in some way, such as when it is foretold that Jesus will be crucified for our transgressions, so believers can have salvation.]

[End of World Predictions Analysis: I am not going to try to interpret all these End of World Prediction passages, since many are signs that are open to a vast array of interpretations. I recently got literature in the mail, that I hadn’t requested, that states that the beast of the sea and of the land, the little horn, the dragon, and the antichrist are related to the pope and the papacy. Is that accurate? Maybe yes and maybe no. I don’t know the answer to these things, but I am sharing this so you can be mindful and prayerful to listen to the instincts that Christ alone can give you.]

[In my opinion, as a Christian, I found what works best for me is not to get too caught up in trying to find literal interpretations or definitive interpretations for things of this nature. I just focus on Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I don’t get overwhelmed by the details that are beyond my comprehension.]

[I will use this as an example: Revelation 21:21 says: The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.]

[Well, I used to hear people argue about what heaven is going to be like. Does it matter if the streets of heaven are going to be made of pure gold, are gold plated or just look like gold? No, none of that is really significant, in my opinion! What is significant is that I want to end up in heaven when Jesus calls me no matter what the streets are paved with! The way that is possible is not to get caught up in arguments with others that Satan may use to lead us astray.]

[If I focus on Jesus Christ as my Savior, His commandments, and what He wants for me, I am most apt to end up in heaven on the Last Day. Of course, I’m not perfect, but all my many sins are forgiven as long as I stay focused on Christ who made the ultimate sacrifice for me and He did it for you, too!]

Remember John 3:16-21 when Jesus says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

Follow Jesus Christ, who is the Light of the World and will lead you to Salvation!

Basics of what these Isaiah verses said (sometimes paraphrased)

Basics of what these Revelation verses said (sometimes paraphrased)

Rev 1:1-3 This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave Him to show His servants things that must shortly take place. He sent & signified by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness of the word of God, & to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he [John] saw. Blessed is he who reads & those who hear the words of this prophecy, & keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

Isaiah 50:5-6 The Lord God has opened My ear; And I [foretelling of Jesus being questioned before His crucifixion] was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away. I gave My back to those who struck Me, And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.

Rev 1:4-6 John is to share this information with the 7 churches in Asia from Him who is & was & is to come & from the 7 spirits who are before His throne & Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead & ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us & washed us from our sins in His own blood& has made us kings & priests to His God & Father, to Him be glory & dominion forever & ever. Amen.

Isaiah 53:2-9 For He [foretelling of Jesus’ crucifixion] shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground.

Rev 1:7-8 He [Christ] is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Amen. “I am the Alpha & the Omega, the Beginning & the End,” says the Lord, “who is & who was & who is to come, the Almighty.”

Rev 1:9 John, brother & companion in tribulation & kingdom & patience of Jesus Christ & was on the island of Patmos for the word of God & for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 41:4 Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? ‘I, the Lord, am the first; And with the last I am He.’ “

Rev 1:10-11 John was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day when he heard a loud voice behind him like a trumpet saying, “I am the Alpha & the Omega, the First & the Last. What You see, write in a book & send it to the 7 churches in Asia: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, & Laodicea.”

Rev 1:12-16 John turned to see the voice that spoke with him & saw 7 golden lampstands.

Rev 1:17-20 When he saw Jesus, John fell at His feet as if dead, but Jesus laid His right hand on him saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the First & the Last, I am He who lives & was dead, & behold I am alive forevermore. Amen. I have the keys to Hades & Death. Write the things which you have seen & the things which will take place after this. The mystery of the 7 stars which you saw in My right hand are the angels of the 7 churches, & the 7 golden lampstands are the 7 churches.”

Isaiah 6:6-7 Then one of the seraphim [angels] flew to me [Isaiah], having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.”

Rev 2:1-7 John is to write this from Jesus“To the angel of the Church of Ephesus:These things says He who holds the 7 stars in His right hand & walks in the midst of the 7 golden lampstands. I know their works, labor, patience & that you can’t bear those who are evil. They have tested those who say they are apostles & have found them liars. They have persevered & have patience, & have labored for My name’s sake & haven’t become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love, You need to remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent & do the first works or else I will come to you quickly & remove your lampstand from its place. The church & Jesus both hate the Nicolaitans. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in  the midst of the Paradise of God.”

Rev 2:8-11 John should write to: “the angel of the church in Smyrna:From the First & the Last, who was dead, & came to life I know your works, tribulation & poverty (but they are rich); & Jesus knows of the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews & are not, but are of the synagogue of Satan. Don’t fear the things which you are about to suffer, for the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested & you will have tribulation for 10 days. Be faithful until death, & I will give you the crown of life. Hear what the Spirit says to the churches: He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”

Rev 2:12-17 John is to write to: the angel of the church in Pergamos that He who has the two-edged sword. I know your works & where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is & you hold fast to My name, & did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. I [Jesus] have some things against them, because they have those who hold the doctrine of Balaam who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel to eat things sacrificed to idols & to commit sexual immorality. You also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly & will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. The Spirit says to the churches: to him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna to eat & I will give them a white stone, & on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”

Isaiah 17:7-11 In that day a man will look to his Maker, And his eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel. He will not look to the altars, The work of his hands; He will not respect what his fingers have made, Nor the wooden images nor the incense altars. In that day his strong cities will be as a forsaken bough And an uppermost branch, Which they left because of the children of Israel; And there will be desolation. Because you have forgotten the God of your salvation, and have not been mindful of the Rock of your stronghold, Therefore you will plant pleasant plants And set out foreign seedlings; In the day you will make your plant to grow, And in the morning you will make your seed to flourish; But the harvest will be a heap of ruins In the day of grief and desperate sorrow.

Rev 2:18-29 John writes to the church of Thyatira: “These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire & His feet like fine brass; I know your works, love, service, faith & your patience. As for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless, I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach & seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality & eat things sacrificed to idols. I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, & she didn’t repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, & those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death & all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds & hearts. I will give to each according to your works. Many in Thyatira don’t know the depths of Satan as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come.

Rev 3:1-6 John writes for Jesus to the church of Sardis, “These things says He who has the 7 Spirits of God & 7 stars. I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful & strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I haven't  found your works perfect before God. Remember what you have received & heard, hold fast & repent. If you don’t watch, I will come on you as a thief & you will not know what hour I will come upon you. I have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; & they shall walk with Me in white, because they are worthy. He who overcomes will be clothed in white garments & I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but will confess his name before My Father & before His angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Isaiah 51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, And look on the earth beneath. For heavens will vanish away like smoke, The earth will grow old like a garment, And those who dwell in it will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not be abolished.

Rev 3:7-13 John writes to the church of Philadelphia for the Holy Spirit, “These things says He who is holy, He who is true. Hey who has the key of David, He who opens & no one shuts, & shuts & no one opens.” I [Jesus] know your works, I set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word & have not denied My name. I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who lie & say they are Jews & are not, to come worship before your feet & to know that I have loved you, because you have kept My command to persevere.

Isaiah 48:12-13 “Listen to Me, O Jacob, And Israel, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last. Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, And My right hand has stretched out the heavens; When I call to them, They stand up together.

Rev 3:14-22 “And to the angel of the church of Laodiceans  write, These things says the Amen, the Faithful & True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:  I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous & repent. Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice & opens the door, I will come in to him & dine with him & he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I, also overcame & sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Isaiah 6:2 Above it stood seraphim [high ranking angels]; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.

Rev 4:1-6 John saw a door standing open in heaven.

Isaiah 6:3 And one [seraphim/angel] cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!”

……………………………..

Isaiah 45:11For thus says the Lord, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord and there is no other.

………………………………………

Isaiah 45:5-7 I am the Lord, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting That there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things.

Rev 4:7-11 The 1st living creature was like a lion, the 2nd living creature like a calf, the 3rd living creature had a face like a man & the 4th living creature was like a flying eagle. The 4 living creatures each have 6 wings & were full of eyes around & within. They do not rest day or night saying,”Holy, holy, holy, Lord God almighty, Who was & is & is to come!”  Whenever the living creatures give glory & honor & thanks to Him [God] who sits on the throne & lives forever, the 24 elders fall down before Him & worship Him & cast their crowns before the throne saying, “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory & honor & power; For You created all things, & by Your will they exist & were created.”

Isaiah 63:7-9 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord And the praises of the Lord, According to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, According to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses. For He said, “Surely they are My people, Children who will not lie.” So He [Jesus] became their Savior. In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them All the days of old.

Rev 5:1-14 John saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside & on the back, sealed with 7 seals. Then he saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll & to loose its seals?” No one in heaven, on earth or under it was able to open the scroll or look at it. John wept, because no one was worthy to open & read the scroll, but one of the elders told him not to weep, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll & loose its 7 seals. John saw in the midst of the throne & of the 4 living creatures & the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having 7 horns & 7 eyes, which are the 7 Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. He came & took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.  When He had taken the scroll, the 4 living creatures & 24 elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp & golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints & they sang a new song saying:”You are worthy to take the scroll, & to open its seals: For You were slain, & have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe & tongue & people & nation, & have made us Kings & priests of our God; & we shall reign on the earth.” Then John heard the voice of many angels, living creatures & elders around the throne & the number of them was 10,000 x 10,000 + 1,000’s +1,000’s saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power & riches & wisdom & strength & honor & glory & blessing!” every creature which is in heaven, on earth & under it & such as are in the sea & all that are in them, he heard saying, “Blessing & honor & glory & power Be to Him who sits on the throne, & to the Lamb, forever & ever!” Then the 4 living creatures said, “Amen!” The 24 elders fell down & worshipped Him who lives forever & ever.

Rev 6:1-2 John saw when the Lamb opened 1 of the seals & heard 1 of the 4 Living Creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come & see.” He looked a behold, a white horse & He who sat on it had a bow & a crown was given to him. He went out conquering & to conquer.

Rev 6:3-4 When He opened the 2nd seal, John heard the 2nd Living Creature saying, “Come & see.” A fiery red horse went out & it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth & that people should

kill one another & there was given him a

great sword.

Rev 6:5-6 When He opened the 3rd seal, John heard the 3rd Living creature say, “Come & see.”  John saw a black horse & he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. He heard a voice in the midst of the 4 Living Creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius & 3 quarts of barley for a denarius & do not

harm the oil & the wine.”

Rev 6:7-8 When He opened the 4th seal, John heard the voice of the 4th Living Creature say, “Come & see.He saw a pale horse & the name of him who sat on it was Death and Hades followed with him. Power was given

to them over ¼ of the earth to kill with a sword, with hunger, with death & with the beasts of the earth.

Rev 6:9-11 When He opened the 5th seal, John saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God & for the testimony which they held.

Isaiah 34:4 All the host of heaven shall be dissolved,  And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll; All their host shall fall down As the leaf falls from the vine, And as fruit falling from a fig tree.

…………………..

Isaiah 2:17-21 The loftiness [pride] of man shall be bowed down, And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; The Lord alone will be exalted in that day, But the idols He shall utterly abolish.

Rev 6:12-17 John looked when He opened the 6th seal & behold there was a great earthquake; & the sun became black as sackcloth of hair & the moon became like blood, the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.

Rev 7:1  After these things, John saw 4 angels standing at the 4 corners of the earth holding the 4 winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, sea or any tree.

Rev 7:2-8 John saw another angel ascending from the east having the seal of the living God & he cried with a loud voice to the 4 angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth & sea saying, “Do not harm the earth, sea, or trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” John heard the number of those sealed:144,00 of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed. 12,000 each of the following tribes were sealed: Tribes of Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin.

Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Rev 7:9-12 After these, John saw a great multitude which no one could number of all nations, tribes, peoples & tongues, standing before the throne & before the Lamb clothed with white robes & palm branches in their hands. Amen”

Isaiah 25:8-9 He [God] will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth for the Lord has spoken. And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him & He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him; We will be glad & rejoice in His salvation.”

……………………

Isaiah 40:11He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.

Rev 7:13-17 One of the elders answered John saying, “Who are these arrayed in white robes & where did they come from?” John told him that he knew. So he told John, “They are the ones who come out of the great tribulation & washed their robes & made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God & serve Him day & night in His temple. He who sits on the throne will dwell among them . They shall neither hunger nor thirst anymore. The sun shall not strike them nor any heat for the Lamb who is in the

midst of the throne will shepherd them & lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Isaiah 6:4-5 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. So I [Isaiah] said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.”

Rev 8:1-4 When He opened the 7th seal, there was silence in heaven for about ½ hour. John saw the

angels who stand before God were given 7 trumpets. Another angel having a golden censer came & stood at the altar. He was given much incense that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

Isaiah 29:6 You will be punished by the Lord of hosts With thunder and earthquake and great noise, With storm and tempest And the flame of devouring fire.

Rev 8:5-6 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar & threw it to the earth. There were noises, thunderings, lightnings & an earthquake. So the 7 angels sounded who had the 7 trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Isaiah 15:6 For the waters of Nimrim will be desolate, For the green grass has withered away; The grass fails, there is nothing green.

Rev 8:7 1st angel sounded & Hail & fire followed, mingled with blood & they were thrown to the earth. ⅓

of the trees  were burned up & all green grass was burned up.

Isaiah 15:8-9 For the cry has gone all around the borders of Moab, Its wailing to Eglaim And its wailing to Beer Elim. For the waters of Dimon [Dead Sea] will be full of blood; Because I will bring more upon Dimon, Lions upon him who escapes from Moab, And on the remnant of the land.”

Rev 8:8-9 2nd angel sounded: & something like a great mountain, burning with fire was thrown into the sea & ⅓ of the sea became blood & ⅓ of the living creatures in the sea died & ⅓ of ships were destroyed.

Rev 8:10-11 3rd angel sounded: a great star fell from heaven burning like a torch & fell on ⅓  of rivers &

springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood & ⅓ of the water became wormwood & many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.

Rev 8:12-13 4th angel sounded:⅓ of the sun

was struck, ⅓ of the moon & ⅓ of the stars were darkened. ⅓  of the day did not shine & likewise the night. John looked and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the 3 angels who are about to sound!”

Isaiah 13:9-13 Behold, the day of the Lord comes, Cruel, with both wrath & fierce anger, To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it. I will make a mortal more rate than fine gold, A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, And the earth will move out of her place, In the wrath of the Lord of hosts And in the day of His fierce anger.”

Rev 9:1-12 5th angel sounded: & John saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. They were not given authority to kill them [ones without God’s seal], but to torment them for 5 months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death & will not find it. They will desire to die & death will flee from them. The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold & their faces were like the faces of men. They had hair like women’s hair & their teeth were like lion’s teeth. They had breastplates like breastplates of iron & the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle. They had tails like scorpions & there were stings in their tails. There power was to hurt men 5 months. They had a king over them, the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon. One woe is past. Behold, still 2 more woes are coming after these things.

Isaiah 9:18-19 For wickedness burns as the fire; It shall devour the briers and thorns, And kindle in the thickets of the forest; They shall mount up like risking smoke. Through the wrath of the Lord of hosts The land is burned up, And the people shall be as fuel for the fire; No man shall spare his brother.

…………………………………

Isaiah 57:13 When you cry out, Let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind will carry them all away, A breath will take them. But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land, And shall inherit My holy Mountain.”

………………………………

Isaiah 65:11-12 But you are those who forsake the Lord, Who forget My holy mountain, Who prepare a table for Gad [a pagan deity], And who furnish a drink offering for Meni [a pagan deity]. Therefore I will number you for the sword, And you shall all bow down to the slaughter; Because, when I called, you did not answer; When I spoke, you did not hear, But did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight.”

Rev 9:13-21 6th angel sounded: & John heard a voice from the 4 horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the 6th angel who had the trumpet, “Release the 4 angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So the 4 angels who had been prepared for the hour & day & month & year were released to kill ⅓ of mankind.John heard the number of the army of the horsemen: was 200 million.

Isaiah 42:5-9 Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it: “I, the Lord, have called You [Jesus] in righteousness, And will hold up Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles.

Rev 10:1-11 John saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun & his feet like

pillars of fire. He had a little book open in his hand. He set his right foot on the sea & his left foot on the land & cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he

cried out, 7 thunders uttered their voices. When the 7 thunders uttered their voices, John was about to write; but heard a voice saying to him, “Seal up the things which the 7 thunders uttered & do not write them.” The angel John saw standing on the sea & on the land raise up his hand to heaven & swore by Him who lives forever & ever, who created heaven & the things that are in it & earth & the things that are in it & the sea & the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer, but

in the days of the sounding of the 7th angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets. Then the voice that he heard from heaven spoke to him again & said, “Go, take the little book which is open

in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea & on the earth.” So John went to the angel & said to him, “Give me the little book.” And he said to John, “Take & eat

it & it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.” Then John took the little book out of the angel’s hand & ate it & it was as sweet as honey in his mouth, but when he had eaten it, his stomach became bitter. He said to John, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues & kings."

Isaiah 56:5-6 “Even to them I will give in My house And within My walls a place and a name Better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name That shall not be cut off. Also the sons of the foreigner Who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him, And to love the name of the Lord to be His servants- Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, And holds fast My covenant-”

Rev 11:1-2 John was given a reed like a measuring rod. The angel stood saying, “Rise & measure the temple of God, the altar, & those who worship there. But leave out the court which is outside the temple, & do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for 42 months.

Isaiah 6:8-10 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “here am I!

Rev 11:3-6 I will give power to my 2 Witnesses & they will prophesy 1,260 days clothed in sackcloth.” These are 2 olive trees & the 2 lampstands standing before the God of the earth.

Isaiah 3:8-9 For Jerusalem stumbled, And Judah is fallen, Because their tongue and their doings Are against the Lord, To provoke the eyes of His glory. The look on their countenance witnesses against them, And they declare their sin as Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves.

Rev 11:7-12 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them & kill them.

Rev 11:13-14 In the same hour, there was a great earthquake & 1/10 of the city fell. In the earthquake 7,000 people were killed & the rest were afraid & gave glory to the God of heaven. The Second Woe is past. Behold the third is coming quickly.

Isaiah 11:1-4 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch [Jesus] shall grow out of his roots .

…………………………………

Isaiah 58:13-14 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of the Lord honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; and I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Rev 11:15-19 The 7th angel sounded: Loud voices in heaven saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord & His Christ & He shall reign forever & ever!” 24 elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces & worshipped God saying, “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is  & who was & who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power & reigned.

Isaiah 7:14-16 “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good. For before the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her kings.”

Rev 12:1-6 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet & on her head was a garland of 12 stars. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron, He Child was caught up to God & His throne. The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God that they should feed her there 1,260 days.

Isaiah 14:29-31 “Do not rejoice, all you of  Philistia, Because the rod that struck you is broken; For out of the serpent’s roots will come forth a viper, And its offspring will be a fiery flying serpent.”

Rev 12:7-9 And war broke out in heaven.

Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder.

Rev 12:10-17 John heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “ Now salvation & strength & the kingdom of our God & the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb & by the word of their testimony & they did not love their lives until death. Rejoice, O heavens & you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth & the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” When the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.

Rev 13:1-10 John stood on the sand of the sea & saw a beast rising up out of the sea having 7 heads & 10 horns each with a crown & on his heads was a blasphemous name.

Rev 13:11-18 John saw another beast coming up out of the earth & he had 2 horns like a lamb & spoke like a dragon.

Rev 14:1-5 John saw a Lamb standing on Mount Zion & with Him 144,000 having HIs Father’s name written on their foreheads. He heard a voice in heaven like the voice of many waters & like the voice of thunder & the sound of harpists playing their harps. They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the 4 Living Creatures & the elders & no one could learn that song except the 144,000 who were redeemed from the earth. These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins & follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God & to the Lamb. In their mouths was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Isaiah 14:22-23 “For I will rise up against them,” says the Lord of hosts, “And cut off from Babylon the name & remnant, And offspring & posterity,” says the Lord. “I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, And marshes of muddy water; I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” says the Lord of hosts.

Rev 14:6-11 John saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth-to every nation, tribe, tongue & people-saying with a loud voice, “Fear God & give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come. Worship Him who made heaven & earth, the sea & springs of water.” Another angel followed saying, “Babylon, that great city is fallen, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” Then, a 3rd angel followed saying, “If anyone worships the beast & his image & receives his mark on his forehead or his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire & brimstone in the presence of the holy angels in the presence of the Lamb. The smoke of their torment ascends forever & ever & they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast & his image & whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Isaiah 13:4-8 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, Like that of many people!

Rev 14:12-20 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God & the faith of Jesus. John heard a voice from heaven saying to him, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on that they may rest from their labors & works follow them,” says the Spirit. He saw a white cloud with One like the Son of Man sitting on it, having a golden crown on his head & a sharp sickle in His hand. Another angel came out of the temple crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle & reap for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth & the earth was reaped. Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. Another angel came out from the altar who had power over fire & he cried with a loud cry to Him who had the sharp sickle saying, “Thrust in your sharp sickle & gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.” So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth & gathered the vine of the earth & threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. The winepress was trampled outside the city & blood came out of the winepress of the wrath of God up to the horses’ bridles for 1,600 furlongs.

Isaiah 12:4-6 And in that day you will say: “Praise the Lord, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth. Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!”

Rev 15:1-8 John saw another sign in heaven, great & marvelous, 7 angels having the 7 last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete. He saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire & those who have the victory over the beast & his image & his mark & over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God & the song of the Lamb saying:  “Great & marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty! Just & true are Your ways, O KIng of the saints! Who shall not fear You O Lord, & glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come & worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.”  John saw that the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. Out of the temple came the 7 angels with the 7 plagues clothed in pure bright linen with their chest girded with golden bands. One of the 4 Living Creatures gave to the 7 angels 7 golden bowls of the wrath of God who lives forever & ever. The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God & from His power & no one was able to enter the temple till the 7 plagues of the 7 angels were completed.

Rev 16:1 John heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the 7 angels, “Go & pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.”

Rev 16:2 The 1st [angel] went & poured out his bowl upon the earth & a foul & loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast & those who worshiped his image.

Rev 16:3 The 2nd angel poured out his bowl on the sea & it became blood as of a dead man & every living creature in the sea died.

Rev 16:4-7 The 3rd angel poured out his bowl on the rivers & springs of water & they became blood.

Rev 16:8-9 The 4th angel poured out his bowl on the sun & power was given to him to scorch men with fire. Men were scorched with great heat & they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues & they did not repent & give Him glory.

Rev 16:10-11The 5th angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast & his kingdom became full of darkness; & they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains & their sores & did not repent of their deeds.

Isaiah 19:5-8 The waters will fail from the sea, And the river will be wasted & dried up.

Rev 16:12-16 The 6th angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates & its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. John saw 3 unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast & out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are [the] spirits of demons, performing signs which got out to the kings of the earth & of the whole world to gather them to the battle of the great day of God Almighty. “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches & keeps his garments, lest he walk naked & they see his shame.” They gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

Isaiah 6:11-12 Then I [Isaiah] said, “Lord, how long?” And He answered: “Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, The houses are without a man, the land is utterly desolate, The Lord has removed men far away, And the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land. But yet a tenth will be in it, And will return and be for consuming, As a terebinth tree or as an oak, Whose stump remains when it is cut down. So the holy seed shall be its stump.

Rev 16:17-21 The 7th angel poured out his bowl into the air & a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven from the throne saying, “It is done!” And there were noises & thunderings & lightnings & there was a great earthquake, such a mighty & great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth.

Isaiah 21:6-9 For thus has the Lord said to me; “Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees.” And he saw a chariot with a pair of horsemen, A chariot of donkeys, and a chariot of camels, And he listened earnestly with great care. Then he cried, “A lion, my Lord! I stand continually on the watchtower in the daytime; I have sat at my post every night. And look, here comes a chariot of men with a pair of horsemen!”  Then he answered and said, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen! And all the carved images of her gods He has broken to the ground.”

Rev 17:1-8 One of the 7 angels who had the 7 bowls came & talked to John saying, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication & the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her formnication.” He carried John away in the Spirit into the wilderness & he saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having 7 heads & 10 horns. The woman was arrayed in purple & scarlet & adorned with gold & precious stones & pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations & the filthiness of her fornication. On her forehead a name was written: Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother of Harlots & of the Abominations of The Earth. He saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints & with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When he saw her, he marveled with great amazement. The angel said to John, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman & of the beast that carries her, which has the 7 heads & 10 horns. The beast that you saw was & is not & will ascend out of the

bottomless pit & go to perdition. Those who dwell on

the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in

the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was & is not & yet is.

Isaiah 57:3-4 “But come here, You sons of the sorceress, You offspring of the adulterer and the harlot! Whom do you ridicule? Against whom do you make a wide mouth And stick out the tongue? Are you not the children of transgression, Offspring of falsehood,”

Rev 18:9-18 [The angel tells John] “Here is the mind which has wisdom: the 7 heads are 7 mountains on which the woman sits. These are of 1 mind & they will

give their power & authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb and the Lamb will overcome them for He is Lord of lords & King of kings & those

who are with Him are called, chosen & faithful. The

angel told John,  “The waters which you saw where the harlot sits are peoples, multitudes, nations & tongues.

Isaiah 14:5-11 “The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers; He who struck the people in wrath with a continual stroke, He who ruled the nations in anger, Is persecuted & no one hinders.

Rev 18:1-3 After these things John saw another angel coming from heaven having great authority & the earth was illuminated with his glory. He cried mightily saying loudly, “Babylon the great is fallen & has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit

& cage for every unclean & hated bird! All the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her & the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

Isaiah 2:12-18 For the day of the Lord of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up- and it shall be brought low- Upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, And upon all the oaks of Bashan; Upon all the high mountains, And upon all the hills that are lifted up; Upon every high tower, And upon every fortified wall; Upon all the ships of Tarshish, And upon all the beautiful sloops [1 masted sailboat], The loftiness ]pride] of man shall be bowed down, And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; The Lord alone will be exalted in that day, But idols He shall utterly abolish.

Isaiah 48:10-15 “For you [Babylon] have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, ‘No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’ Therefore evil shall come upon you; You shall not know from where it arises.

Rev 18:4-24 John heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins & lest you receive of her plagues. For in 1 hour your judgement has come.’ The merchants will weep & mourn over her for no one buys their merchandise of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, purple, silk, scarlet, every kind of citron wood, object of ivory, most precious wood, bronze, iron, marble, cinnamon, incense, fragrant oil & frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses & chariots & souls of men. The things your soul longs for have gone from you & all things which are rich & splendid have gone from you & shall not be found any more at all. The merchants who become rich by her will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping & wailing, saying, ‘Alas, that great city was clothed in fine linen, purple & scarlet & was adorned with gold & precious stones & pearls! In 1 hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors & as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance & cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’ They threw dust on their heads & cried out, weeping & wailing & saying, ‘alas that great city in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in 1 hour she is made desolate.’ “Rejoice over her, O heaven & you holy apostles & prophets for God has avenged you on her!” A mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone & threw it into the sea saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down & shall not be found anymore, the sound of harpists, musicians, flutists & trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore & the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore. The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore & the voice of bridegroom & bride shall not be heard in you any more for your merchants were great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all nations were deceived. In her was found the blood of prophets & saints & all who were slain on the earth.”

Isaiah 24:3-6 The land shall be entirely emptied & utterly plundered, For the Lord has spoken this word.

Rev 19:1-10 After these things John heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “Alleluia! Salvation & glory & honor & power belong to the Lord our God! For true & righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication & He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” Again they said, “Alleluia. Her smoke rises up forever & ever!” The 24 elders & 4 Living Creatures fell down & worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, “Amen! Alleluia!” A voice came from the throne saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants & those who fear Him, both small & great!” John heard the voice as it were of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters & as the sound of mighty thunderings saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!” Let us be glad & rejoice & give Him glory for the marriage of the Lamb has come & His wife has made herself ready.” To her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean & bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he [angel] said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to John, “These are the true sayings of God.” John fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to John, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant & your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I [Isaiah] saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.

Rev 19:11-21 John saw the heaven opened & behold a white horse & He who sat on him was called Faithful & True & in righteousness He judges & makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire & on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood & His name is called The Word of God. The armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white & clean followed Him on white horses. Out of His mouth goes a sharp sword that with it He should strike the nations. He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness & wrath of Almighty God. He has on His robe & on His thigh a name written: King Of Kings And Lord Of Lords. John saw an angel standing in the sun. He [the angel] cried with a loud voice saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come & gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, captains, mighty men, horses & those who sit on them & all people free & slave, both small & great.” John saw the beast, kings of the earth, their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse & against His army.

Isaiah 14:12-20 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer [Satan, devil], son of the morning!

Rev 20:1- 6 John saw an angel coming down from heaven having the key to the bottomless pit & a great chain in his hand.

Isaiah 21:17-23 Fear & the pit and the snare Are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth.

……………………………………

Isaiah 66:15-16 For behold, the Lord will come with fire And with His chariots, like a whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by His sword The Lord will judge all flesh; And the slain of the Lord shall be many.

Rev 20:7-10 When the 1,000 years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison & will go out to deceive the nations which are in the 4 corners of the earth, Gog & Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth & surrounded the camps of the saints & beloved city. Fire came down from God out of heaven & devoured them. The devil, who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire & brimstone where the beast & the false prophet are. They will be tormented day &  forever & ever.

Isaiah 11:11-It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria & Egypt, Form Pathros & Cush, From Elam & Shinar, From Hamath & the islands of the seas. He will set up a banner for the nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel, And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.

Isaiah 26:19-21 Your dead shall live; Together with my dead body they shall arise, Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; For your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter your chambers, And shut your doors behind you; Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, Until the indignation is past. For behold, the Lord comes out of His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; The earth will also disclose her blood [bloodshed], And will no more cover her slain.

Rev 20:11-15Then, John saw a great white throne & Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth & the heaven fled away.

Isaiah 46:9-10 Remember this, and show yourselves men; Recall to mind, O you transgressors. Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, “My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure.”

Isaiah 65:17-19 “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, And her people a joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, And joy in My people; The voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, Nor the voice of crying.”

Isaiah 66:22 “For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the Lord, “So shall your descendants and your name remain.”

Rev 21:1-8 John saw a new heaven & a new earth, for the 1st heaven & the 1st earth had passed away. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters & all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire & brimstone, which is the 2nd death.” &

Isaiah 53:10-12 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him [Jesus],; He has put Him to grief.

Isaiah 60:18-21 Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, Neither wasting nor destruction with your borders; But you shall call your walls Salvation, And your gates Praise.

Rev 21: 9-27 One of the angels who had the 7 bowls filled with the 7 last plagues came to John & talked with him saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” He carried John away in the Spirit to a great & high mountain & showed him the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. There shall by no means enter it anything that defiles or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Isaiah 49:8-10 Thus says the Lord: “In an acceptable time I have heard You, And in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You As a covenant to the people, To restore the earth, To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages; That You may say to the prisoners, ‘Go forth.’ To those who are in darkness, “Show yourselves.’ “They shall feed along the roads, And their pastures shall be on all desolate heights. They shall neither hunger nor thirst, Neither heat nor sun shall strike them; For He who has mercy on them will lead them, Even by the springs of water He will guide them.”

Rev 22:1-10 He  [angel] showed John a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God & of the Lamb. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” Now I, John, saw & heard these things & fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed him these things. He said to me, “See that you do not do that for I am your fellow servants & of your brethren the prophets & of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

Isaiah 11:10 “And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious.”

Isaiah 44:6 ‘Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.

Rev 22:11-17 He said to John, “Do not seal the words of this prophecy of this book for the time is at hand.

Amen.
